'Don't let the door hit you in your sorry ass on your way out!': Americans bid 'farewell' to the worst US 'President' ever!!

The blog, Farewell 43, gives Americans a chance to bid George W. Bush 'farewell'. I think they really mean: GOOD RIDDANCE!

Visit them and post your own 'good riddance' message. Let the very worst frickin' "President" in American history know what you really think.

Following is the test of my 'good riddance' message. Post your own on their site. Here's a link to my comment on Farewell43! See also: Oh, Blessed Day!

Hey George

I would hope the nation you leave behind 'fares well'. You're on your own! Good riddance to you and your slimy ilk!

I am a fourth generation native Texan. My ancestors were in Texas before the railroad. You brought shame and disgrace to the state. You are NO Texan! You're a carpetbagger.

I will not mourn if I never again see your repulsive mug or hear your whiny voice --characterized as it is by a phony Texas accent which you affect. Leave Texas. Go back to Connecticut if Connecticut will have you.

You won't have the Oval Office to hide out in anymore. With any luck and a good federal prosecutor, you may learn what life is like on the lamb or --better --in a federal lock up run by one of the sub-contractors so favored by your GOP locusts.

You once said "The Constitution is just a goddamned piece of paper!" Perhaps, when you wake up one day to find yourself charged with mass murder and other capital crimes, you will learn to love the Constitution and the Bill of Rights in the same way that the profligate embrace the Bible. Many who share your dubious mindset have had such predictable epiphanies inside dull, gray cells.

You said that Saddam Hussein had weapons of mass destruction. He didn't! You lied.

You once said "Bring it on!" Tell that to an honest Federal judge.

You encouraged the American people to believe there were connections between Iraq and 911. There were none. You lied!

You said: "This would be a helluva lot easier if this was a dictatorship"! Then you tried to make it one. For the sake of the nation and the world, I hope you failed!

You claimed you won the 'Trifecta'! Perhaps you call a 'trifecta' 1) America's status as an aggressor nation, 2) its bananna republic status, 3) its collapsing economy due solely to your economic incompetence and utter stupidity.

You said "I know how hard it is for you to put food on your family". You lied!

You said: "Our enemies .. never stop thinking about new ways to harm our country and our people, and neither do we." The lasting harm you inflicted upon our Constitution, the Bill of Rights, the economy is your lasting legacy.

Because YOU lied, over one million civilians in Iraq are dead, many are the result of direct combat like the war crimes perpetrated upon Fallujah -- a heinous crime not unlike the Nazi liquidation of Lidice. It would be fitting if your 'Presidential Library' be housed inside a Holocaust Museum.

There is a Holocaust Museum in Houston. But it's doubtful that it would bother to make room for your crap.

Upon a pack of evil, malicious bald-faced lies and deliberate fabrications, you sent US 'servicemen' into battle against a nation that was never, ever in any way at any time a 'threat' to the US. You lied! US soldiers died by the thousands. They are still mired in Iraq a phony war which will 'live in infamy'.

You represented the selfish, venal interests of just one percent of the nation. You favored them with tax cuts even as you threatened the Social Security that is essential to everyone but your favored few. 'God bless the child that's got his own!'

You were NOT elected. You stole the office.

You did your best to ruin the nation. Your robber baron constituents must be very happy. But with any luck, they will soon be out of luck, as well.

I will not wish you 'good luck'. It would most surely mean 'bad luck' to wish 'good luck' upon one so irredeemably and institutionally evil as you. Tragically, you never had to make your own luck but you may soon have to live with the karma that you have sown. People like you are accustomed to simply buying their luck! With any luck, you will have run out of luck and out of office. Unfortunately for the world, there was always pappa and his cronies to bail you out. We know that you are still AWOL.

It is, rather, to the nation and the rest of the world to whom I say: "Good luck". In your wake, it will be needed. To you, I say: "May you live in interesting times!" That, by the way, is an ancient Chinese curse! Watching your defense of your capital crimes should be interesting, indeed!

There are some old Native American curses, but as you have problems with 5th grade level English, they would be utterly wasted on you. You don't deserve a good curse.

Above were my 'get lost' messages to Bush. Following are others chosen almost at random:
You royally fucked up!

Shakespeare said, “The evil men do lives after them. The good is oft interred with their bones.”

In your case, there is no good to inter. The celebration of your departure from Washington will be overshadowed by the financial and moral debt you’ve left behind.
You, George W. Bush, have done more than any single human being in the history of this country to destroy more than 200 years of American pride and progress. If you have even one shred of decency and any honesty left, you will admit publicly and beg forgiveness of the People for having been party to the theft of the 2000 election; to being guilty of war crimes; to destroying our international reputation; to having been responsible for the deaths of thousands of human beings domestically and abroad; to having had not one shred of concern or compassion for anyone outside your socio-economic status; to burdening future generations with the consequences of your actions; to having furthered the potential destruction of our planet through global warming; and to having done all this for mere power, foolish pride, greed, and money.

Good riddance, George (I don’t dare honor you with the title “Mr. President”). You, Sir, are the WORST President this country has ever seen. You are a national disgrace. We pray to recover some day from all the damage you have caused to us as a nation, and to the world.
Dear Dimbya,

You are a disgrace to this once great country! America is now hated by more people in this world than ever before! Thank you for destroying my homeland!
Hey Georgie,

Thank you for:

Two recessions.

Endless war in Iraq.

Eroding our civil liberties.

Housing foreclosures.

Bailing out corporate criminals.

Corrupting the Justice department for political gain.

Making America hated in the world.

Have a swell retirement, now that you ruined everyone else’s.

Heckuva of a job fella
You have earned your place in history.

As the possibly the dumbest president in US history, certainly the most corrupt, the most coldblooded, most consistent liar and the most arrogant sociopath this country has ever had the misfortune to deal with at such a high level.

You have made huge strides in establishing a third world OILigarchy in a first world nation, cost us the respect of the world and have gone farther than anyone in this nation’s history to destroy the Constitution of the United States which you perjuriously swore to defend.

You have destroyed the checks and balances in government, and also the regulations which kept this nation out of economic disaster since the Great Depression.

You have done more than any previous president to ensure that you successor does not have the leisure vacation time which you have granted yourself during your malfeasance in office.

If you have a hard time reading this, get your wife to help you with the big words, she used to be a teacher.
Thanks, George, for proving to all Americans and the entire world that, indeed, it CAN happen here!
You should have been Impeached. You violated the constitution and international law. You brazenly used the office as a power grab. You’ve disgraced America with your crimes. You have sanctioned torture, and should be impeached and tried for war crimes.

As of today, you have 296 days left in your occupied office. That is 296 days too many. Goodbye to the worst President in history.
H.L. Mencken [wrote],

“As democracy is perfected, the office of president represents more and more closely, the inner soul of the people. On some great and glorious day the plain folks of the land will reach their heart’s desire at last and the White House will be adorned by a downright moron.”

After 7+ years of that reality, I believe the “plain folk” of America realize that the leader of the world’s most powerful nation should be smarter than a 5th grader.
I never thought I would see a president I could not stand more than Dick Nixon. You have made my nightmare come to life. I always thought a president should be able to talk without stuttering and huhing but you have taken the English language to a new low. Please don’t let the door hit you on the way out. Bye.

Note that one is limited to no less than twenty words and no more than two hundred, and that profane expletives will not pass moderation. This said, here is my contribution, I hope it gets approved:

Oh, Blessed Day!

You have achieved what no man has ever achieved before. Indeed, never in the whole of mankind’s history has one man earned the hatred of several billion of his contemporaries. This is your only legacy which will haunt you, your family, and your posterity forever. Your name has become ignominy and anathema and will remain so as long as mankind survives and can transmit memory from generation to generation. Countless people with the surname “Bush” have had their surname legally changed so as not to bear nor transmit to their posterity such a cursed name.

You and all the generations of your family, past, present and future, are bad and evil seed. The whole world will breathe a huge, collective sigh of relief upon your leaving the White House, a sigh so loud that it will fill the whole atmosphere with music. I say not goodbye, I say adieu, may the world never meet you again. Your departure is a blessedly good riddance.

That sounds like an ancient Gypsy curse!

I HEARTILY approve. And may I quote you?

Your name has become ignominy and anathema and will remain so as long as mankind survives and can transmit memory from generation to generation.

Where I came from, the Ignominy family lived across the street, Anathama one block over. Ignorance and Apathy were just across the alley. The family next door were great and used to make wonderful, homemade Tortillas and Enchiladas.

You [Bush, of course] and all the generations of your family, past, present and future, are bad and evil seed.

The family are a living argument in favor of genetic engineering. I have yet breathed a sigh of relief and won't until the lyin', evil bastard is OUT of the White and --FOREVER --out of our hair!

NO MORE BUSH EVER!!!!!

NO MORE GOP EVER!!!!!!

What puzzled me about this administration is not its incompetence, but the insane magnitude of it.

I want to bring in focus, for instance, the shattered legacy of Dr Rice. I chose to call her as such, as to remind you all that Condi obtained her PhD in diplomacy for which she studied and mastered the Russian language and the heavy subject of the American/Russian cold war era relationship. Her goal was to be part, and certainly leave a honorable footprint in this relationship once she is offered a position to be fully part of the diplomatic discussion between the two foes.

Of course, we all know that during most of the Bush's regime, her diplomatic skills in the very topic of American/Russian relations were as useful as offering a flat headed screw driver in order to remove the bloody animosity tied by solid steel Phillips screws on the Isrealo-Palestinian relationship. We all laugh, for instance at the cold war era approach to the war in Iraq by fire Donald Rumsfeld.

However, the constant bullying of the United States and the "mepris" of this later toward the Russian bear, have brought the cold war in full swing cumulating to the Georgian conflict.

This is were Condi was supposed to have her lifetime chance to make a difference. This was supposed to be for her the perfect time to display all the skills for which she painstakingly studied and graduated. For the Bush administration, Condi should have been the ace card, the dream ad-hoc tool to counter the degrading US/Russian situation. Try to imagine Condoleeza Rice secretary of state during the Cuban crisis in 1963!

Instead, we saw a parade including Joe Biden and John McCain in Georgia and the French president Sarkozy trying his best to deal with the new puppet from Moscow. Condoleeza Rice went instead for the 17th time to the middle-east trying once again in vain to resolve a decades old conflict by talking to a isreali prime minister on his way out of office and a powerless palestinian leader. Worse, his under secretary of state, a former university colleague of Condi, were given to respond to the latest Russian bold announcement of recognizing the Independence of the two rebel Georgian pseudo-states. Condi has not talked to the Russian ambassador in the United States for the last three week. She is completely MIA on this topic. This is absolutely amazing.

Finally, for the sake of a short comment, I will leave to you to puzzle about Condi's take on the US/Poland accord on missile defense. It's as if that, for her, the Cuban missile crisis of 1963 simply never happened.

Future historians are about to pull quite a bunch of hair from their respective burning skulls about this strange diplomatic episode.

Depends on which side of the looking glass you're on to judge whether or not GW was successful.

He's torn apart the federal government, making it basically useless on several levels, which has been the goal of die-hard Republicans for decades.
And with the mountain of debt incurred since 2001, it's likely the federal government will never recover.

He's given the wealthiest huge tax breaks. And big oil.

The defense contractors are reporting record breaking profits every year. And big oil.

He's managed to shred the Bill of Rights and turn America into a semi-police state.

We're bogged down in Iraq and Afghanistan and headed for war with Iran, all for the benefit of the MIC and Israel.

He's gotten laws passed legalizing torture and the repeal of habeas corpus.

Bush, Cheney and Rumsfeld, etc, pulled off the most masterful false-flag in the history of the world and to this day, a majority of Americans still believe the Bush/Cheney version.

Still think GW's been a failure?

I am not sure why anyone touted Rice to begin with. It seems this administration's efforts, when truly not incompetent, were at best just going through the motions...that is certainly all I have ever perceived Rice as doing.

In the long run they were certainly successful at achieving many of their personal and shadow goals. A few of Those would be emptying the treasury of the united states into the pockets of their cronies and confidants; creating foreign policy strategies that will ensure the continued stoking of the military industrial complex, and then their final accomplishment would be the further eroding of the individuals legal and civil rights, all the while increasing executive privileged and power.

It is fitting that the people of America & the world send Bush a farewell letter, to let these crooks know they were unsuccessful in defeating the people's spirit. What I really hope for is that a constant stream of costly and annoying lawsuits are directed at this administration's personnel for the rest of their lives.

With all due respect to my fellow enlightened ones, I just reread the first page of The People's History... and it reminded me of how f-cked up we are as human beings. This squabbling over minutia is getting us nowhere. We need to shun the status quo... turn away.. obviously voting republican or democrat isn't going to cut the mustard. Vote 3rd. party and remember the Arawaks

Indeed! Browse the archives...you'll find lots of amunition.

Adam Smith said that the best result comes from everyone in the group doing what is best for himself. Adam Smith was wrong. The best results will come from everyone doing what is best for himself as well as what is best for the group! All the evils of GOPism from the fact that they believe a lie...many of them deliberately. One is free to the degree that one is 'responsible' --that's existentialism. However, the GOP desires 'freedom' for oneself but will NOT accept responsibility for the consequences of believing lies.

Good analogy! Condi never struck me as 'authentic'. It's one thing to be a liar but 'inauthenticity' has its origins in the lies an individual tells themselves. As are all of us, I am just an amateur psychologist. But, in my mind, Condi's nervous mannerisms, the tight, constricted, from the top of the lung manner of speaking betrays the fact that she is not comfortable with who she is and is lying to herself as well as everyofne else. Existentialists might call this 'existentialist anxiety'but by whatever name it is given, Condo is never at ease because she is never at ease with who she is!! Self-esteem may be true salvation! Thus --Condi is already damned.

Try to imagine Condoleeza Rice secretary of state during the Cuban crisis in 1963!

We might have been toast! Two statesmen resolved that crisis --JFK, of course, and Nikita Khruschev whom I've grown to admire more over the years. At the time, US propaganda had demonized him.

Condi has not talked to the Russian ambassador in the United States for the last three week. She is completely MIA on this topic. This is absolutely amazing.

Given her record, perhaps we should be happy that she's not talking.

Evil folk think Satan successful. So --it's not surprising that some folk have different, lower, evil standards, I've been writing about how screwed up the GOP is for years. The GOP is a hodge podge of evil intent, neuroses, psychoses, and, in general, just fucked up self-absorbed psychopaths of NO empathy whatsoever. Most of the people I write for do not share GOP values, so I can call the shots straight up! By ANY civlized or moral standard Bush is a completely fucked up human being and so, too, his 'base'. That brings up an important point:

The defense contractors are reporting record breaking profits every year. And big oil.

I happen to consider his 'success' on behalf of a tiny, corrupt elite to be failure. That they are all yucking it up, just proves that they are even more evil than their puppet in the White House.

It isn't enough. He HAS emptied the treasurary into his friend's pockets. We MUST go after these stolen funds even if it means Nationalizing every oil company, GE, Halliburton and every other money-grubbing Corporation.

I know this sounds like Socialism, but I don't think Capitalism has worked out very well for the 99.9% of the population who own only 10% of OUR country's wealth.

Say what you will, Hugo Chavez has started to return Venazulian wealth to the forgotten of that country.

"Say what you will, Hugo Chavez has started to return Venezuelan wealth to the forgotten of that country"- Old Hippy

Agreed, although he has done and said a few really stupid things, but, relatively speaking on the over-all Chavez, is beat out by our idiot by 110%, when it comes to stupidity. Also, I certainly have been blasted at so called "liberal sites" or "left leaning" etc...for ever saying anything good about Chavez.

My only complaint with Chavez, is that when he had the spot-light, he essentially blew it by over acting out with his bluster and "threats", he appeared petty and self important. He could have made Bush look the bigger fool by laying back and coolly dealing with Bush/co, on many of the trade issues... but he was played.

To bad...also, he needs to mind the international election watchers, and that arena in general...but who are we to talk these days of free and fair elections. Nevertheless, his actions towards the people, the general population, is in bringing the wealth back into their proximity, as it appears to be genuine, and working. South America is just another no-brainer when it comes to why the nations there eventually turn against America...because they are sick and tired of being ripped off by our corporate pirates and the typically vicious right wing puppet governments we support. Our foreign policy there is as abysmal and a failure as it has been in the middle east, this crap has been catching up with us for some time now, the piper will demand payment.
