Bush sticks you with the bill

by Len Hart, The Existentialist Cowboy

In the conduct of his war crimes, capital crimes and naked aggression, Bush ran up the largest debt and deficit in US history! The Iraq war to date is estimated to have cost you over $3 trillion --'financed' in the short term with phony-baloney "'GOP" money.

Now that the bill has come due, Bush blackmails the American people with an offer you dare not refuse; do it Bush's way or face a 'crisis'. Bush expects you to foot the bill for his bail out and that of his crooked Wall St insiders. Bush must be surprised that the crash has happened before he could make good his get-away to Paraguay!

We got to this point because the US government has been hijacked by Wall Street. For years, the US government has borrowed money from the Federal Reserve Bank of New York --a private bank, not a government agency. Federal Reserve Notes are not backed up by anything. To finance its profligacy and incompetence, the government --GOP regimes primarily --simply cover all current expenses with Federal Reserve Notes.

The FED literally creates money which is loaned to the government at interest.
The private Federal Reserve owners don’t have a trillion dollars to lend the Government, nor do they need it. All they do is create it, via a bookkeeping entry, and write a check to the U.S. Government as the loan in exchange for the U.S. Bonds. The U.S. Government banks at the Federal Reserve Bank so cashing this check is very easy.

--FDRS
No hard currency is exchanged. Government agents are never seen walking out of the FED offices --under armed guard --carrying bullion, coins, or, indeed, anything of real value. The Fed makes an 'entry' in the books! The government makes an entry in its books!

Here's how the 'bail out' scheme will work: US Treasury Secretary, Hank Paulson will set up a Federal agency to buy up $trillions$ in bad debt --debt for which you are stuck because just enough people supported Bush to make the election 'steal-able'. The bankers who conspired with Bush get off scot free and laugh all the way back to the bank.

John McCain, meanwhile, expects you to entrust these same Wall Street crooks with the good money that you have already paid into the Social Security trust fund. Had McCain's plan already been effected, every retiree in the US would now be left penniless and destitute! That scenario could still happen, if the GOP should get away with stealing the election for John McCain.

George W. Bush has warned that the 'entire US economy' is in crisis. Specifically, the US faces a long-term recession if the government does not act! The problem is Bush's prescription: another bailout, another handout, another reward for the Wall Street insiders whose greed and incompetence created the crisis. It's the GOP way: just keep on doing whatever it is that makes you sick!
"I believe companies that make bad decisions should be allowed to go out of business," Bush said. "Under normal circumstances, I would have followed this course. But these are not normal circumstances."

--Bush, moving his lips
When the GOP uses the terms 'crisis' and 'money' in the same sentence --hold onto to your wallet. This time you are required to pay the blackmailers some $700 billion, while bending over.

Like Reagan earlier, the Bush administration has looted the US Treasury and again, like Reagan, wiping out the American middle class. Instead of bailing Bush out, we should be frog marching Bush --in chains --out of the White House. For too long the apparatus of government has been hijacked by thieves, perverts, and mass murderers. For too long the US government has been exploited as the enforcement arm by which a crooked, corporate establishment rules America. The proper word for this is 'fascism'. For some time now, the government of the US must be properly described a fascist dictatorship!

The GOP expects you to reward them in that amount for their crookery, their greed, their wars of naked aggression, torture and atrocity. They expect to be 'paid' for having robbed you. They expect to be returned to office for having been crooks, liars and failures.

The profligate GOP ran the nation on charge cards, maxed them out, consolidated and maxed out again and again! The GOP expects you to pick up the TAB while Bush beats a hasty retreat to South America without leaving a forwarding address. Your response should be: screw you!! We should follow up with criminal charges against the GOP leadership.

Bush claims the market was not functioning properly. At this point, I am confused! Hasn't the GOP repeatedly told us about the utter infallibility of 'free markets'. Or was that just another lie used to get your money? What happened to Adam Smith's 'invisible hand'? Or did they mean 'invisible hand job"?
More financial distress could lead more banks to fail, the stock market to drop further, businesses to close, job losses and home values to drop, Bush said.

"And, ultimately, our country could experience a long and painful recession," Bush said. "Fellow citizens, we must not let this happen."

--Bush warns of serious risks to U.S. economy
Bush cites a ''widespread loss of confidence" and warns that major financial sectors will simply shut down. I think Ebeneezer has something to say about that.
Are there no prisons? Are there no workhouses?

--Ebeneezer Scrooge, A Christmas Carol, Charles Dickens
I really hate it when someone demands I make a life or death decision while holding a gun to my head. I hate it when that happens.
I would guess that this has to be one of the biggest peacetime transfers of power from Congress to the Administration in history. (Anyone know?). Certainly one of the most concise.

The Treasury Secretary can buy broadly defined assets, on any terms he wants, he can hire anyone he wants to do it and can appoint private sector companies as financial deputies of the US government. And he can write whatever regulation he thinks are needed.

...

Decisions by the Secretary pursuant to the authority of this Act are non-reviewable and committed to agency discretion, and may not be reviewed by any court of law or any administrative agency.

--Adam Davidson, NPR, Re: the so-called bailout bill
I have a better plan. It consists of rounding up every GOP idiot who supported the war against Iraq because it was thought that the theft of Iraqi oil would lower the price of oil and thus the price they pay to fill up their SUVs! Give these idiots the bill! Let them cough up that money as best they can. Bush was their hero. Let them bail his sorry ass out! Busk a queue! Sell greeting cards door to door!

Len,
Should not we round up all the Dems too? They played in this game.
Let's put an end to this false left/right - dem/repub false paradigm. All of them are the enemy
of the people. Time to start over.

The democrats are the lesser of two evils!

From personal experience, the GOP is not merely a crime syndicate, it's a kooky cult.

The Democrats are not even comparable.

Sure --I have issues problems with Democrats. That's the way it SHOULD be!

But I have MORAL problems with a party that is the embodiment of evil.

Unknown said...

Of course, I have opposed the phony right/left dichotomy. It's meaningless.

Secondly, the US really has only two wings of one party! But of the two wings, the GOP is corrupt to the core.

An interesting result from all this is that Bush and the GOP have proven that KARL MARX was absolutely correct.

At last this observation --it's the GOP modus operandi more than its position vis a vis right v left that is the problem. The GOP is not 'evil' because of its position on an artificial left v right construct. The GOP would be 'evil' were it politically left!

I agree with what you say here.
The current GOP has taken criminality and 'immorality' to new low levels.
It's that lesser of two evils that gets to me.
What once was 'hold your nose' and vote/support the ones that may destroy you later rather than sooner, now there are pangs of a hot knife in the gut to even think about doing so.

How do we overcome the corruption?
Is the system too far gone?

I want an end to the wars and an open honest national and state debate on where we are and where we are going.

How do we get there? Peacefully is best but not guaranteed.

Maybe you've got some good ideas Len on what exactly we should do.

Len,

I've been arguing with GOP Cultists here in the GOP dominated suburbs of Chicago for years. To give you an idea of the insanity I deal with on an almost daily basis; I live in Henry Hyde's former Congressional District.

I've heard lunatic rantings about my "Radical Leftist" arguments for years. I've easily backed these deluded libertarian perpetual teenagers into a corner that they can't escape from with my favorite rhetorical cudgel. How can these idiots call me a "leftist" when they've defined the "center" so far to the right so as to define Barry Goldwater as a liberal and Dwight Eisenhower as a Revolutionary Marxist?

The Fucking American Myth is bankrupt. The fenders have rotted off the jalopy and it'll not be long before the wheels rot off leaving these idiot GOP ideologues pounding sand.

It's time for everyone to get out onto the the streets banging pots and pans to get everyone's attention.

It's time for a little less American Idle and a lot more looking under the hood before the engine throws a rod.

EVERYONE should STOP feeding the beast. Here's how:

1) Run the following suggestions by a lawyer with whom you are friends in the event that his 'opinion' is not worth what he wants for it.

2) Look up Delaware's requirements for filing as a Corporation registered as such in the State of Delaware.

3) When you have selected a 'registered agent' (who will file everything with the Sec of State, Delaware), you will be sent your 'corporation kit'! Voila! You are a corporation.

4) Use Quicken or some such, and set up a set of 'books' in the corporate name.

5) Run all of your income THROUGH the corporation.

6) Be a LOUSY businessman and NEVER make a profit on which you will be taxed. This works because individuals are not allowed to charge off expenses that may be charged off by corporations. So ---BECOME a corporation

7) Basically --STOP feeding the beast.

kenny,

you are absolutely correct to characterize it as 'insanity'. Suburbs, I think, were deliberately created by 'social engineers' to diffuse anything but conservative, in-the-box thinking. They most certainly succeeded.

Len;
You said;

It is apparently worse than that. Ron Paul said it this way;
. . . . The Federal Reserve System is actually positioning itself as the savior, rather than the culprit, in this mess!
• The Treasury Secretary is authorized to purchase up to $700 billion in mortgage-related assets at any one time. That means $700 billion is only the very beginning of what will hit us.
• Financial institutions are "designated as financial agents of the Government." This is the New Deal to end all New Deals.
• Then there’s this: "Decisions by the Secretary pursuant to the authority of this Act are non-reviewable and committed to agency discretion, and may not be reviewed by any court of law or any administrative agency." Translation: the Secretary can buy up whatever junk debt he wants to, burden the American people with it, and be subject to no one in the process.
There goes your country.
http://www.informationclearinghouse.info/article20862.htm

I am not a fan of Ron Paul because he is a Federalist, another term for a sub cult of the Republican party. The Federalist’s were just as much in a rush, to attack Iraq as the rest of the party.
But, in this instance, Paul is nearer the truth than the rest of the GOOP.

PS – I have a distant cousin, who is a ‘Christian’ Federalist. I haven’t spoken to her since April 2003. My predictions of the out come to attacking Iraq have come true. Perhaps, she can take satisfaction in the killing of all those Muslim Arabs.
And, Jesus wept.

Len;
This just in my inbox.
‘National Protests Erupt Over Bailout Plan’ by Haider Rizvi.
. . . . . . "Cash for trash," shouted activists who gathered near Wall Street to express their outrage at Bush's proposal to buy bad debts of financial institutions at the cost of 700 billion dollars of taxpayer money. . . . . .
http://ipsterraviva.net/UN/currentNew.aspx?new=4920

Apparently, TrueMajority.org, Democracy Now!, and La Raza are involved in organizing demonstrations in 190 American cities. (We don’t hear about these demonstrations in the GOOP controlled press, do we?)
What disturbs me is that La Raza’s aim is for relief for individual home owners with mortgages, only. There is no mention of the rest of the plan to raid the American treasury.
La Raza can exert a tremendous amount of pressure in the largest minority in the US, but they are not using their full power.

You're right! I knew La Raza activists in El Paso. Tne hispanic community is by far the fast growing demographic segment in Texas, perhaps the entire Southwest. With some planning and goal setting La Raza could change America.

BTW ---the Mexican Constitution of 1910 addresses the RIGHTS OF THE INDIVIDUAL against those of the state UPFRONT and does so in very precise language. That tells me that 'la revolucion' took the rights of the individual very, very seriously --not like the GOP in the US.

Viva Zapata! Viva la Revolucion!

re. The democrats are the lesser of two evils!

But remember Len, voting for the lesser of two evils is akin to asking to be pissed on instead of shit on...

Do you support the economic policy of Fascism? Then Vote for McCain OR Obama!

yeah well...I've written hundreds if not thousands of pages re: alternative and fairer votings systems to include 'range' and 'borda counts'. I've also urged 'revolution'

But until I ride into Washington among the revolutionaries, I will continue to vote for 'lesser' --as opposed to iredeemably evil alternatives.

It's the only RATIONAL alternative.

I repeat: the Democrats of are often merely incompetent. The GOP is E - V - I - L!!!

Len says:
yeah well...I've written hundreds if not thousands of pages re: alternative and fairer votings systems to include 'range' and 'borda counts'. I've also urged 'revolution'

As grateful as I am for your strong, well reasoned and well written political voice against the treasonous Bush-GOP gov't, do remember...

"A revolution is not a dinner party, or writing an essay, or painting a picture, or doing embroidery; it cannot be so refined, so leisurely and gentle, so temperate, kind, courteous, restrained and magnanimous. A revolution is an insurrection, an act of violence by which one class overthrows another." Mao Zedong on Peasant Movement War and Revolution...

But until I ride into Washington among the revolutionaries, I will continue to vote for 'lesser' --as opposed to iredeemably evil alternatives. It's the only RATIONAL alternative.

Actually it's an IRRATIONAL alternative. By continuing to support the lesser of 2 evils you are continuing to support the 2 party system. Not only that by continuing to vote for the lesser of 2 evils just because you don't think a candidate who does represent your real political values has a chance in an imaginary Christian hell to win is also irrational.

The only way 3rd party candidates will ever gain a foothold in the US political system is when American voters like yourself stop voting against their political values [or their conscience] by rationalizing their vote as the 'lesser of 2 evils'. By voting for the 'lesser of 2 evils' you are only supporting the 2 party system. No matter how much you think a 3rd party candidate will lose, only by voting for a 3rd party candidate do you stop supporting the 2 party system. You keep voting Democrat despite the fact both past presidential elections have been skewed a few percentage points in favor of GOP by GOP election fraud, correct? You are in essence supporting GOP election fraud by not acknowleging your protest of this election fraud with a vote for a 3rd party candidate.

The Democrats of are often merely incompetent. The GOP is E - V - I - L!!!

You of all people should fully well know that the democrats today have moved beyond mere incompetence with 'no backbone' to being the 'new' moderate conservative party in America. I don't know but perhaps you are really a 'right authoritarian' conservative.. "Obama is popularly perceived as a leftist in the United States while elsewhere in the west his record is that of a moderate conservative." "Liberal White Boy" makes a very salient point here in McBama - Of One Mind On The Murderous Police State...

I see from your acknowledgment as an 'ENTP' that you like psycho-metrics, a specialty I studied in post grad school as an [ENTJ] myself [like Letterman and Leno]. I suggest you take the political values equivalent to the Myers-Brigs by taking a political compass questionnaire to see where your real political values are at here at the political compass test

By the way, if you like psycho-metric 'personality typing' tests akin to the Myers Brigs, I'm the only person I know of who has java coded the well known Eysenck Personality Questionnaire (EPQ) and put it online for use free use by the internet masses. You can read about and take the EPQ here at my web site on Eysenck Personality Questionnaire

Well, as you say it is an 'IRRATIONAL ALTERNATIVE'. That NOT to say that ANY choice made when confronted by an IRRATIONAL ALTERNATIVE is, likewise, irrational. Indeed, history may be interpreted as the a series of RATIONAL choices among IRRATIONAL ALTERNATIVES.

Think about it!

Secondly, as a voter, a member of the electorate, I am not the one who mandated that I choose between twiddle dumb and tweedle dumber. Given that choice, the ONLY RATIONAL choice among the IRRATIONAL ALTERNATIVES is 'tweedle dumb' i.e, 'tweedle dem' not GOP!

You of all people should fully well know that the democrats today have moved beyond mere incompetence with 'no backbone' to being the 'new' moderate conservative party in America. I don't know but perhaps you are really a 'right authoritarian' conservative

Yep! It's downright Kafkesque, alright! But what will you do? VOTE GOP and ENSURE your enslavement ---OR vote Democratic and work within for liberation?
